Wendy won this commission entitled "The Art of Technology" from Davy Process Technology to use her artwork to brighten and brand their reception area.

Davy wished to adapt an under utilised visitor area adjacent to its reception to establish an art-gallery, for works that will be open to the public by appointment, to employees, to visitors and guests.

The sponsored commission resulted in several related pieces of work, which engaged employees, customers and other visitors of Davy, through the use of art in the workplace.

The initial exhibition was launched in the autumn of 2001, some of which remain as permanent pieces on display today.

Davy Process Technology Limited core activities are research and development of advanced Process Technologies for the manufacture of petrochemicals and fine chemicals and the supply of licences to operate these technologies.
